AI Assistant

PerfectPalette includes a built-in AI assistant that helps you make design decisions as you build your palette.

Opening the assistant

Click the AI Assistant toggle in the top-right area of the navigation bar. The assistant panel opens on the right side of the palette editor.

What the assistant can help with

  • Palette suggestions — Ask for color recommendations based on your project's goals.
  • Color psychology — Get insights on what emotions or associations specific colors convey.
  • Accessibility guidance — Ask about contrast requirements or how to fix accessibility issues.
  • Design feedback — Describe your use case and get feedback on your current palette.
  • Harmony advice — Ask which harmony mode best suits your needs.
  • General color questions — Any color-related question you have while working.

How to use it

Type your question or request in the chat input at the bottom of the assistant panel. The assistant has context about your current palette, so you can ask questions like:

  • "Is my palette too warm?"
  • "What would be a good accent color to complement my hero color?"
  • "How can I improve the contrast between my text and background colors?"
  • "Suggest a name for this palette."

Availability

The AI assistant is available while you're working in the palette editor. It's designed to provide guidance without interrupting your workflow — use it whenever you need a second opinion on your color choices.
