Getting Started with PerfectPalette

PerfectPalette helps you build, analyze, and export production-ready color palettes. Whether you're designing a brand, building a website, or creating a design system, PerfectPalette guides you through every step.

Your first palette

  1. Open PerfectPalette and navigate to Perfect (the home page).
  2. You'll land on the Plan stage. Fill in a brief describing your project — target medium, personality traits, color temperature, and accessibility goal.
  3. Click Generate to create a palette from your brief, or skip the brief and add colors manually.
  4. Work through each stage in order: Colors, Harmony, Contrast, Accessibility, Scales, Roles, Preview, Review, and Export.
  5. When you're satisfied, download your palette in the format you need.

The main navigation bar gives you access to six areas:

From the Export stage, click Copy share link to generate a URL that anyone can open to view your palette — no account required.

Dark mode

Toggle between light and dark mode using the theme switch in the top-right corner of the navigation bar.

Apply palette theme

When you have a palette loaded, use the Apply Theme toggle in the navigation bar to see PerfectPalette's own interface styled with your palette colors. This gives you a feel for how your palette works in a real application.
